BiographiesMonty Hornberger: Monty is the tenor singer for the group. He lives in Hughesville, PA with his wife Sandy. They have two children and four grandchildren. In his spare time Monty enjoys the outdoors, hunting and working on street rods. Gene Bixby: Gene is the lead singer for the group. Gene started singing with the group in 2003 and has brought a special spirit to the group. He is the newest member and an answer to many prayers. He lives in New Albany, PA. He has two daughters, two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Gene started playing guitar as a teenager and joined a country music band until he gave his life to the Lord. He is a member and deacon of the Evergreen Christian Church. Gene taught Electrical Occupations at Northern Tier Career Center in Towanda, PA and is now retired. He loves spending time with his great grandchildren. Gene and his late wife Connie used to spend about a month in Zephyrhills, FL when the group took their annual break during the winter holiday season. Keith Woodcock: Keith is the bass singer for the group. He resides outside Montoursville, PA with his wife Pat. They have one daughter. Keith grew up in a Christian church attending family and gave his heart to the Lord at the age of 12 while attending church camp. Although he attended college and graduated with degrees in the business/computer field, he knew that music would be a part of his life. He attends Community Baptist Church in Montoursville, PA and is a member of the deacon board there. He sang and played the piano many years for the Gilbert family and a few other groups before joining Redeemed. In his spare time Keith enjoys hunting, fishing , camping and NASCAR racing. He and his wife also like to take rides in their classic 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible. |

Jim Barrett:
Jim is the baritone singer for the group and lives with his wife Kitten in Williamsport, PA. They have 3 children and 4 grandchildren. They enjoy traveling and at this point have been to every state in the United States except for Hawaii. Jim enjoys singing Southern Gospel Music, hunting, fishing camping and spending time with his family. He started singing at his church at a very young age and knew he wanted to sing in a Southern Gospel quartet after hearing the group Sons of Song from Flint, Michigan sing at his church. Jim attends Fairlawn Community Church in Cogan Station, PA. Jim joined the group in 1994, and his prayer is that Redeemed would be a blessing to those that know Christ as their Savior and to bring or plant a seed that would lead others to Christ. |
